Keys on Avalon
All Ages and Levels WelcomeFrom the five-year-old just finding the keys to the adult who always meant to learn, there's a place for everyone here.
All-Inclusive PricingNo surprise fees for books or materials. Tuition covers everything: a binder, printed music, and practice assignments are provided from day one.
More Than Just TechniqueOur teaching philosophy is built around how we know students learn -- through play, curiosity, and building a genuine love of music.
The language of music is common to all generations and nations; it is understood by everybody, since it is understood with the heart.
Gioacchino Rossini 19th Century Italian Composer
Keys on Avalon
Piano lessons for every age, every starting point, and every goal, from a five-year-old's first time at the keys to an adult finally making good on a lifelong intention.
Solo lessons run 30, 45, or 60 minutes depending on the student's goals. Partner lessons let two students share a longer lesson at a lower per-student cost. Whether students are siblings or friends, a partner brings more interaction and more energy to every lesson.
All lessons are month-to-month with no long-term commitment required, and students who practice consistently are rewarded for it! Keys on Avalon's "Practice Pays" program offers up to $15 off the following month's tuition for students who make practice a habit (see FAQ for details).
Lessons start at $90 a month.

Keys on Avalon is well suited for beginners as well as students who have some background and want to keep progressing, children or adults. If you're an advanced student looking for conservatory-level preparation or competition coaching, it's worth having an honest conversation about whether Keys on Avalon is a good fit.

Yes, at the teacher's discretion. A $25 travel fee applies to lesson locations more than 5 miles from the studio, up to a maximum of 20 miles. Locations beyond 20 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
